Administration  BMDCR

The Administrative Support Staff for the BMDCR share the same commitment to fundamental basic research as do the Institute's faculty, indeed, their very reason for existence is support of the Institute's faculty and their research. One byproduct of this abiding commitment is the ability to share in the faculty's success, and the Department cherishes a strong working bond among its support staff and faculty.

The staff provide a full range of services to the faculty, among them assistance in grant preparation and financial management, secretarial support, academic appointments and promotions, human resources, computing and technical assistance, student services, special event coordination, and facilities administration and maintenance.

The goal is to assist the faculty to such a degree that a maximum amount of faculty time can be devoted to research and not to paperwork -- a goal which requires considerable talent, attention, and devotion to a mission that transcends us all: finding the cancer cure.
